If you’ve been tuning in regularly, you know that yesterday we touched on the ever intimating topic of “overwhelm”, and the real CORE REASON why most people experience it.

Be sure to go back and check out that e-mail if you didn’t read it when it got sent out.

Today I wanna take a few minutes and address another issue that came up from a Super Affiliate Network member after I shared the lesson, and tackle the problem from another angle.

Again, yesterday I shared that “overwhelm” is usually just a symptom of a much deeper problem…

…Usually, someone not believing in themselves, and as a result, not taking any action.

This leads to them going through countless products, courses, systems, and everything in between trying to create the feeling of progress, never actually getting anywhere, only pushing themselves further and further into the hole.

Couple that with the fact that 99% of all the so-called “goooorooos” are usually doing nothing more but intentionally confusing you as much as they can, knowing that the more confused you are, the more likely you are to buy… And well, it can be pretty easy to find yourself in the hole fast.

Now, while most people understood the lesson completely, and fully resonated with it, for a few it wasn’t quite what they were looking for.

For a few, they were looking for another solution…

And while it may not be the solution to “overwhelm”, it’s definitely worth bringing up today as a lesson.

See for a certain percentage of people, “overwhelm” isn’t necessarily the problem.

They’re taking action and they’re doing A-LOT, yet they aren’t making any real PROGRESS.

Now while it’s actually completely opposite to overwhelm, as when you’re taking a ton of action, it’s almost impossible to be overwhelmed, you can still solve the problem with a similar style of solution.

That being, to focus on doing LESS.

Now while I know if may seem counterintuitive, as you’re constantly taught and reinforced the value of “massive action”, stick with me here.

See, what most people do who are taking action yet seeing little if any progress, very simply put, is focus on all the WRONG things.

They focus on the trivial many vs. the vital few, and as a result, they take a ton of action, yet see very little if any progress.

I know, as I’ve been there myself, and I know just how frustrating it can feel.

The good news is that the solution is fairly easy to get to, and if you’re taking action already, it shouldn’t be too difficult to adjust.

The first thing you want to do is truly identify where your progress (if any) is coming from.

You want to get crystal clear on the 20% of activities that are driving progress and identify EXACTLY which activities are pushing you forward.

Now, while you’re in the state of taking too much action and seeing too little progress, there might not be too many things you’re doing that are actually driving results… but usually, there’s a few.

Take the time to identify them.

Get crystal clear on what they are, if there’s any.

You’ll usually find a few activities that when executed upon will immediately result in more traffic, more leads, and more sales.

Those are the ones we’re looking for.

Those are the 20% of activities that will drive 80% of the results.

Once you’ve isolated those few activities, the next step is simple.

STOP DOING EVERYTHING ELSE.

Get rid of the baggage and get rid of the extra that’s not adding any real value to your businesses bottom line.

At the end of the day, you want to focus ALL of your efforts on that 20 % of activities that are driving 80% of the results…

…And that means cutting out certain actions that aren’t part of the 20%.

Now while you may not want to completely stop doing EVERYTHING else, as there are admin activities that still need to get done… You at least want to get all of them outsourced.

In doing so, you’ll free up your time to focus on the higher leverage more valuable activities in your business that when executed upon will drive results.

From there, it becomes very simple.

Focus ALL of your efforts on those revenue producing activities, and watch your business grow.

If you did step 1 correctly in identifying what activities are driving revenue, focusing more of your efforts on those activities should only result in one thing…

More revenue.

By focusing on less, you’ll end up driving MORE revenue, and as a result, get yourself off the hamster wheel and on the fast path to creating real progress in your business and life.

To the top,
